Christmas wreath cookies

It’s easy to get into the holiday spirit with this colorful cookie wreath.

Difficulty: Easy
Prep time: 25 min.
Bake time: 12 min.
Decoration time: 10 min.

ingredients and directions:

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 7 DOVE® Brand Dark Chocolate, melted
  • 1 roll (18 oz.) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • ? cup M&M’S® Brand Chocolate Candies for the Holidays
  • 1 tube decorating frosting
  • 2 cookie sheet pans
  • Reynolds® Parchment Paper

Directions:
 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheets with Reynolds® Parchment Paper, set aside.
 2. Knead the flour and melted DOVE® Brand Dark Chocolate into the cookie dough until smooth. Divide dough into 12 equal pieces, set aside. Using one piece of dough at a time, divide it into two. Roll each piece on a lightly floured surface into 8-inch ropes. Place the ropes side-by-side, pinching the tops together. Twist the ropes, rolling them into one rope. Shape into a wreath. Transfer to prepared cookie sheets.
 3. Bake until puffed and firm, approximately 10-12 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
 4. Decorate wreaths with M&M’S® Brand Chocolate Candies by attaching them with dots of decorating frosting.

Ingredients:

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 can (16 oz.) vanilla frosting
  • Blue and yellow food coloring
  • White candy glitter
  • 24 pieces TWIX® Brand Caramel Cookie Bar Minis
  • 24 pieces M&M’S® Brand Peanut Chocolate Candies
  • 2 12-cup cupcake pans
  • Cupcake liners

Directions:
 1. Prepare cake batter according to directions on box. Fill paper lined cupcake cups with 2/3 cup of batter. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for approximately 21 to 24 minutes. Cool completely.
 2. Tint 1/2 cup frosting yellow, set aside. Tint remaining frosting blue and cover the cupcakes. Sprinkle frosting with candy glitter.
 3. Press one TWIX® Brand Caramel Cookie Bar Minis, standing straight up, into the center of each cup. Dot the top of each TWIX® Brand Caramel Cookie Bar Minis with yellow frosting and attach a yellow M&M’S® Brand Peanut Chocolate Candies.
 4. Arrange nine cupcakes into a line, creating a menorah. Lift the center (fifth in line) cupcake slightly.
Tip: Use store-bought cupcakes for an even quicker decoration.



Happy Holiday Krispies

’Tis the perfect season to chop into these and Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® Peanut Chocolate Candie treats.

Prep time: 15 min.
Cooling time: 30 min.

ingredients and directions:

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag (12 oz.) white chocolate chips
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 4 cups Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies®
  • 2 cups M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies for the Holidays or M&M’S® Brand Peanut Chocolate Candies for the Holidays
  • Reynolds® Parchment Paper
Directions:
 1. Place white chocolate chips and butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat at medium power for about 1 minute. Do not allow chocolate to burn.
 2. Stir until mixture is smooth; combine with Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies® and M&M’S ® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies for the Holidays.
 3. Line the pan with Reynolds® Parchment Paper and pour the mixture. Refrigerate until set; about 30 minutes. Cut into 2 inch squares.
